A New Chapter.

So in three days time I am doing the most scariest and most exciting thing that I have ever done in my whole life.

In three days I am moving to America for 3 months.

Something that I have been preparing for since September last year.

That is nine months.. It's the same time as it takes to grow a baby.

What the heck?!

So as you can guess things are going to be a little different around here for a while...

So right now my room is a total mess as I have just moved into the smaller bedroom at my mum’s house and most of what isn't in my suitcase is in boxes. Three weeks after I am back I am moving to Sheffield. I know right. I am crazy.

However I do love my life.

So I guess I will talk to ya'll once I get out there,

Until next time,

My Carry-On Essentials.

I leave for America in few weeks so I have packing and putting together the final pieces that I need to take with me.

Here are my essentials for my carry-on luggage..

1. Blanket - I know that all long haul flights provide you with a blanket but those are small and pathetic so I like to take my own so that I can snuggle down and enjoy the on-demand movies and occasionally try and get some sleep!

2. Pillow - Whenever I go on a long distance journey I also take a pillow with me, for my journey to america I was bought a delightful bear pillow pet which is so comfy. (also again I don't like the ones that they give you on the plane!)

3. Purse - So I can spend all the money that I don't have in duty-free.... whoops.

4. Passport - urm well it can be pretty hard to leave the country without it!

5. Headphones/earphones - For the plane I like to take both headphones and earphones because I like to use them both throughout the flight. I start off with the headphones but then as I get tired I like to switch to the earphones so that I can be more relaxed and I don't hurt my head.

6. Hand Sanitizer - planes are full of so many germs! So I always take some hand sanitizer with me just to make sure that I don't pick up anything bad.

7. Moisturiser - Your skin gets so dry on an aeroplane, so I ALWAYS take moisturiser with me and put a good amount on half way though the flight and touch it up just before landing so that my skin looks as good as it did getting on the plane as it does getting off the plane.

Dealing with stress.

Sometimes life can be very stressful. Luckily for me right now life is thankful, de stressed. I have finished all of my coursework, finished my new bedroom and all I have left to do is pack and prepare for America, (which I leave for a month today!).

Here are some tips that I have picked up over the years....

Listening to music or podcasts on an iPod or music player instead of your phone - means you don't get distracted and you can almost drown the world out.

Go for a walk / run - I find that it just clears your head and you find the opportunity to work out all of the things you have going on in your head.

Have a netflix marathon - I love to just put on a good chick flick or a good Disney movie that I know will just a great big smile on my face!

Bake some treats - There is nothing more in the world that can make a person feel better than baking a cake, you don't have to be the best baker in the world (you can by those part baked mixtures now days).

Have a nap - sleep is a magical magical thing that just leaves you feeling so much better.

Do something creative - I love to be creative and it just makes me feel very calm and at peace. Anything from writing to painting to sewing to drawing.

REVIEW: Soap & Glory - Hand Food.

I am one of those people who were given the nightmare that is really dry hands. That was until I started using Soap & Glory's Hand Food.

The reviews in my opinion are correct and the hand cream is just as good as they say it is.

Within the cream there is Shea Butter, Macadamia Oil and Marshmallow which helps to leave your hands hydrated.

I currently only have the miniature size, (as you can see in the picture) but plan to buy the full size. If you are in the United Kingdom you can buy it from Boots, here is the link:
http://www.boots.com/en/Soap-Glory-Hand-Food%C2%99-Hand-Cream-125ml_1444118/

I am sorry that I could only find a UK link, I know that they sell Soap & Glory products in other countries such as the USA, however I couldn't get access to that link.

Until next time,

REVIEW: Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer.

This concealer has been a staple within my make up collection almost ever since I have started wearing make up.

For me and my skin it gives me the perfect coverage, and can be used to highlight perfectly on my face. The funny thing that I like about it is that the concealer is that it is always slightly cold which makes it weirdly refreshing especially in the summer time.
*picture used is from the feel unique website -
I do not own the picture*

Another one of the things that I love about this product is that it is AFFORDABLE I was able to buy my current one on feel unique for only £5.49! (around $8)

February Favourites.

TV:
Gossip Girl= A new month a new netflix love. I was always out of sink with what was hip on TV, I LOVED GOSSIP GIRL THOUGH! I was so happy with the ending and it just gave me all of the feels.

Make Up:
NAKED basics palette= I am always behind on the bandwagon with everything, and now I can understand what everybody loves about these palettes. The colours are beautiful and are so pigmented which means that they last all day.

Rimmel London Wake Me Up Concealer= This has been my favourite concealer for the longest time, It has great coverage and can easily double as a highlighter. win.win.

Random:
iPod= I have always just used my phone to be able to listen to music, however since there have been many podcasts that I LOVE to listen to. I also find that it can be so much more productive to use this at college because when using my phone it can be easy to get distracted with everything else on there, However with the iPod it is a lot simpler and no way of getting distracted.

Beauty:
The Body Shop Olive Body Butter= I have tried pretty much every single body butter that the body shop have at the moment, and this is by far my favourite body butter of all. It smells incredible, is really mositurizing and you only need a small amount meaning that it lasts forever.

Music;
Grace Unplugged Soundtrack= This is also the fault of netflix, I loved the movie and the message behind it, I would highly recommend it to anybody. The film is based around a modern adaptation of the prodigal son (daughter). The soundtrack that comes with the movie is amazing and fits so perfectly with the movie. I will leave a link to my favourite song 'All I've ever needed' below:
