Friday

Change is among us.

As September is now among us, change is begining. Summer is turning into Autumn, Back to school season, the sky is darker and the world is getting colder.

So as this is the season of change, I decided to change my room around to celebrate this! I didn't really buy anything new but I actually just sorted through everything that I have and was able to sell/give away things that I know longer needed (and I used this money to buy new things but we don't need to talk about that!)

Changing the way your room looks is a really easy way to make you feel like you have a brand new room without really spending any money, but for me it helps to be able to focus for the school year ahead.

Before:
I had my room this way for many years and I my opinion it had just become tired and needed an uplift, just to make it feel like it was 'my space' again.
After:
By moving my bed round gave more space within the room, so I can put up an airbed or something like that when friends come to stay over.
(the only thing that I bought here was the scratch world map which is from Luckies of London)

I think that this is my favourite corner of my room!
I LOVE having my desk this way especially as the autumn leaves and winter will start I can just look out the window and enjoy the view. I also LOVE having the pictures behind my desk because it just keeps me motivated whilst I am working to smile and appreciate my friends and family. ❤
Until next time

p.s as part of moving things round in my room I have put some things up for sale on eBay and Vinted so check them out:

I really recommend both of these websites and for me personally it is such a thrill to be able to make money on things that are just gonna be sat round doing nothing!!

My little jar of memories.

So during my My Favourite Things In My Bedroom post, I said I would show y'all some room DIY...

Today I wanted to focus on my main jar, or as I like to call it 'my jar of memories'.

In my life I have been very fortunate with the places that I have travelled and the things I have experienced within my life so far. However just like any other human I sometimes do have some down days... shocker! I use this jar to cheer me up and motivate me to get through the day.

You can make one for yourself in some very easy steps....

You will need:

  • A large jar
  • tickets/wristband or anything along these lines

1. Make sure your jar is clean and any labels are taken off (only neccessary if recycling)

2. Collate Everything that you want to put into your jar and arrange them in any way you like.

I love recycling old jars and giving them a brand new leace of life. As you saw in the picture I made another into a lipgloss pot and another into a plasters pot, ( I use them both alot... hahaha)
Until next time

My favourite things in my bedroom.

Hello guys!

Today's post is all about my favourite things/pieces etc in bedroom, I really don't know what to call it! So check  it out.

My daily calendar and yes this picture was taken two weeks ago. I'm not ashamed.
My notebook and whiteboard. They are my life.
My favourite part of my bedroom. (those jars are amazing if you want me to show how I made them let me know)
 My jewellery collection
This container is actually something that I picked up at my local garden centre, and literally have most of my daily beauty products in there.

So maybe this will give you some exciting ideas for your own bedrooms,

Until next time
